Almost all of Cheongsong lies within a UNESCO Global Geopark, designated in 2017 for its volcanic rock formations. Juwangsan National Park's rock peaks and waterfalls and the Jusanji reservoir draw hikers and photographers, and the cool basin climate makes Cheongsong apples a national byword.
