Tongyeong Adventure Tower

Built on the Mireuksan Mountain, known as one of the 100 scenic mountains in Korea, is the longest (1,975m) tourist cable car and the first mono cable car circulating gondola ropeway to be built in Korea. Once you reach the top of Mireuksan Mountain, you are guaranteed a breathtaking view in every direction you look. The sea off Hansando Island is also the place where Admiral Yi Sun-shin led the Battle of Hansan to victory with his sweat and blood. Selected as one of Korea’s 100 Must-Visit Tourist Spots by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, it was also selected as the 2015 Open Tourist Site. On your way down with a cable car ride, you can find a long track under your feet. It is a ride called the Skyline Luge Tongyeong. Luge is a unique wheeled gravity ride that provides riders full control over their descent on a purpose-built track. Since there are only six places to ride this luge in the world, Skyline Luge Tongyeong is filled with visitors wanting to feel the excitement every weekend. Since it runs without an engine, in order to speed up, you have to drive without braking on the first straight course. Once it accelerates, try out the S-course, U-course, and 360-degree rotation course as well. Once is never enough! Skyline Luge Tongyeong is the only place with a 360-degree rotation course in the world, attracting second-timers to try out a new course. Skyline Luge Tongyeong sits directly below the Hallyeosudo Cable Car which takes visitors to Mireuksan Mountain and offers stunning views across Tongyeong city, the sea, and surrounding islands.
