The Jangsaengpo Culture Warehouse was originally a cold storage facility that was renovated into a cultural complex in 2021. Spanning six floors, the complex features various galleries, a book café, interactive spaces, a communal workspace, and a rooftop garden offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Ulsan Culture Street is a 1,000-meter-long art street with various galleries, small theaters, cafes, and restaurants. The original city center, which was the center of Ulsan's economic development, has been transformed into an Art Street and a hub for local artists by infusing culture into it, and it is a place where artists can freely create, exhibit and sell their works, just like Montmartre Hill in Paris. There are many art-related attractions, making it a must-see destination for tourists. Every weekend, there are various cultural events such as an art fair, busking performances, street exhibitions, and concerts, where artists and citizens can communicate directly.

The shimmering reflection was a scene that moved many viewers&rsquo; hearts. It is said that the piled-up sand gradually turned into land and formed the village. Yeongnam Alps is the common name for seven mountains over 1,000 meters above sea level located in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan; Sinnae-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do; and Unmun-myeon, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It was named &ldquo;Yeongnam Alps&rdquo; because it is as beautiful as the Alps in Europe. The Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center is the starting point of a trip to the Yeongnam Alps and a complex cultural space. In addition to beautiful natural scenery, it has various facilities such as the Alps Cinema, Bungaeman Center, Climbing Center, and Culture Center, providing many things to see and enjoy for tourists. A 3-5 minute walk away is Sinbulsan Hongyupokpo Falls so that you can enjoy the coolness of its beautiful clear water. <br>

The Ulsan Lotte Grand Wheel is located on the 7th floor of Lotte Young Plaza next to Ulsan Express Bus Terminal. The Ferris wheel offers a 20-minute ride with panoramic views of Ulsan, with options for a general cabin or a crystal cabin, making it a popular attraction among both tourists and shoppers.

Bangeojin Port, designated as a national fishing port in 1971, is Ulsan's representative fishing port, with a large site for a fisheries cooperative's commission and an auction house. Various fish species, such as yellowtail, cutlassfish, Spanish mackerel, and anchovies, are caught. You can purchase fresh seafood from a nearby fish market or sashimi restaurant and enjoy it immediately. <br />The promenade along the breakwater reaches Seuldo Lighthouse, an excellent photo spot, and the sea road leading to Bangeojin Port, Daewangam Park, Ulgi Lighthouse, and Ilsan Beach also boasts romantic scenery. Recently, to revitalize tourism resources, murals and floor designs for the northern breakwater, parking lots, etc., were developed, and a village museum, the Bangeojin Museum, was opened. It serves as a resting place for Ulsan citizens and provides many attractions for tourists.

Anian Park is the first pet culture complex in the southeastern region of Korea, divided into separate sections for large and small breeds of dogs. The complex is complete with a playground, water play zone, pet bath and more. The facility also offers etiquette classes for pets and owners, as well as certification programs.<br>

Cape Ganjeolgot Somang-gil is a coastal path along Ganjeolgot Beach, where the first sunrise of the Korean peninsula can be witnessed, making it a popular spot for New Year's sunrise wishes. Stretching for 10km from the entrance of Jinha Myeongseongyo Bridge to Sinam Port, the route offers five themed courses: Love, Romance, Happiness, and more. An iconic 5-meter Hope Mailbox stands as a local attraction, set against the beautiful Ganjeolgot Lighthouse, designated as one of the "Sixteen Scenic Lighthouses," and a large-winged windmill.

The petroglyphs (figures, pictures, and letters were made on the rocks along the mid-stream area of Naegokcheon Stream, which is a tributary of Taehwagang River. The upper and lower sides of the rocks contain petroglyphs that differ in the content and techniques used. The upper side contains petroglyphs made by means of chiseling. The inscriptions include geometric patterns, animals, and abstract human figures. There are concentric circles, with a round figure looking like the sun at the center, four running deer next to them, and several semi-human animals. The figures with simplistic expression and symbolism appear to have been made during the Bronze Age. <br /><br />The lower side contains line-drawn picture mixed with Chinese characters. They include a procession of horse riders, animals including dragons, and boats. In particular, the procession of horse riders appears in three different places. The boats provide researchers with important information on the offshore activities carried out by people of the Silla dynasty. The 800-plus written characters are about the King and Queen&rsquo;s visit to the place. They were presumed to have been inscribed on two occasions during the reign of King Beopheung (r. 514-540) of the Silla dynasty. The content on the official positions and the government system makes it a precious material for those studying Silla during or around the 6th Century. The petroglyphs were made by many people over an extended period of time, providing vivid information on the life and thoughts of people from prehistoric times to the Silla dynasty. <br /><br />The petroglyphs in Cheonjeon-ri and petroglyphs on the Bangudae Terrace, spanning three kilometers altogether along the Bangucheon Stream, have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on July 12, 2025.<br /><br />(Source: Korea Heritage Service)

Seonam Lake Park was originally developed to provide industrial water, and was closed off to the public with high barbed wire fences for over four decades. However, after the area was no longer used for industrial reasons, the fences were removed and the 1.2 ㎢ lake area was converted into a park. Various facilities and walking paths were created to compliment the breathtaking scenery and the surroundings.

Jangsaengpo Whale Watching Cruise is a whale tour boat operating from Jangsaengpo, Ulsan, once Korea's largest whaling port. The vessel features cabins, a performance stage, a convenience store, and a restaurant. There are courses available for whale exploration and coastal tours. Passengers can observe whales swimming along the coast of Jangsaengpo or visit attractions such as the Ulsandaegyo Bridge and the Ulsan Petrochemical Complex along the coast. Valid identification is required for boarding.

Ulsan Grand Park, located in&nbsp;Namgu Ok-dong, is an ecotype city park with multiple attractions.&nbsp;The park offers&nbsp;huge swimming pool, a&nbsp;theme park, an outdoor concert area, multipurpose sports field and more.&nbsp;The outdoor theme park offers 4 different size ponds, a walking trail, playgrounds, outdoor concert hall, squares, multipurpose sports field and&nbsp;picnic areas. Also near the South gate,&nbsp;you can find a&nbsp;butterfly field, rose garden, and a&nbsp;small zoo.

The Migration Site of Gray Whales of Ulsan is a famous site for watching large gray whales, which usually appear in winter season. The area was officially designated as a National Natural Monument to protect the endangered species.

The Ulsan Theme Botanic Gardens & Arboretum was built on a farm that had been used for agriculture for nearly 20 years. By growing a large variety of plant species, the arboretum provides opportunities for learning and researching plants, and further seeks to become the largest woodland recreational space in the region.

Ganwolsan Recreation Forest is situated northeast of Ganwolsan Mountain, often referred to as the Alps of Korea. This picturesque recreational forest boasts dense pine forests, royal azaleas, maple trees, and pristine valleys. Accommodation facilities within the woods, a campfire site, thirty forest experience courses, a water playground, a forest park, and a sports field enhance the visitor experience. Following the hiking trails leads to observatory, and there are excellent walking paths for forest bathing. Nearby, the picturesque Jakcheonjeonggyegok Valley, famous for its cherry blossoms lane, awaits exploration.

Gang-dong Sea Water Spa is a hotspring that utilizes seawater from the sea in front of Jeongja, boiling it at temperatures exceeding 100&deg;C, resulting in high salinity and excellent sterilizing effects. The facility offers a range of baths, including Iodine Bath, Cold Seawater Bath, Hot Seawater Bath, and Trench Hot Bath. Renowned for the exceptional quality of its seawater, the hotspring attracts numerous visitors seeking its therapeutic benefits. Nearby attractions include Amethyst Cavern Park, Dokkaebi Road, Jakcheonjeong, Ganwol Natural Recreation Forest, and Seongnamsa Temple.
