A perfect place to go on a date Suseongmot Lake, which can be seen when you take Daegu Subway Line 3 and get off at Suseongmot Station, is a place any Daegu local would have visited at least once. From kindergarten picnics to couple and family outings, it is a romantic place that you can’t help but visit again. Suseongmot is an artificial lake that was originally made in 1925 during the Japanese colonial era for the purpose of supplying agricultural water. As the surroundings began to be developed in the 1980s, the lake was turned into a park and has become a place of picnics and relaxation for Daegu citizens along with Suseong Recreation Area. The Suseongmot Festival (Suseong Festival), which started in 2013, is a well-known festival for many tourists and citizens. It is also popular by the splendid grand finale of fireworks that not only rise up into the night sky but also spread over the surface of the water. <This guide was recorded by Baek Ji-yoon of Korea Tourism Organization through talent donation.>
