The Campground No. 1 has 29 camping sites and 10 glamping facilities available for persons with and without disabilities. You may want to check out a guide brochure indicating barrier-free paths and facilities, as well as a braille and voice-type tourist information board at the Management Office. Now, let’s start camping! The campground is spacious enough to accommodate a wooden deck, a large tent, and a tarpaulin. The area surrounding the campground is wide as well, and most slopes are gentle for convenient access for persons with disabilities. A parking space is located next to the camping site and a glamping space. The glamping space has a cot and a stand-up table to accommodate wheelchair users. Convenience facilities, including a restroom, kitchen, and shower room, are clustered around the Management Office. From the restroom and the kitchen to the shower room, it is designed for wheelchair users to conveniently move around. Braille indicating hot and cold water is imprinted on the sink and faucet. If outdoor camping is overwhelming, a bungalow that has a restroom and kitchen inside can be an alternative. The sink, washstand, toilet and shower room are all wheelchair accessible. You can see considerations made for persons with disabilities as the power outlet, switch and hanger are installed at eye level of wheelchair users. There are many things to enjoy on the campground. The ecological pond trail is suitable to feel the peaceful mood. You can even try out canoeing at the mooring next to it. With the wheelchair transfer system, wheelchair users can simply slide down the bench and use canoe safely.
