Best Rooftop Bars in Seoul (2026): 9 Checked Hotel Sky Bars and View Spots
Nine Seoul rooftop bars and view cafes checked against their own official pages in October 2026: floor, hours, address, reservation and dress notes, plus what each costs and who it suits.

Most of Seoul's rooftop bars sit on the top floors of hotels, not on the roofs of ordinary buildings. That is good news for planning, because a hotel publishes its opening hours, a phone number and a reservation route. This guide lists nine rooftop and high-floor bars that we checked on their own official pages on 4 October 2026. If a venue's own page would not load or would not confirm that it is operating, we left it out.
Disclosure: this page carries one sponsored GetYourGuide link near the end. If you book through it, KORLENS may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Nothing in the venue list is paid placement.
How to read the venue entries
Each entry gives the floor, the opening hours as printed on the venue's official page, the address, a phone number or booking route, and a map link. Where a page does not print the hours or the prices, we say so instead of guessing. Prices come only from the Seoul Tourism Organization bar guide (updated 9 September 2026) and are marked as such. Hotel menus change, so treat any price as a starting point.

Reservations, dress, age and weather
Reserve first. Rooftop Bar Floating states that reservations are required, Privilege and Side Note Club give a booking route, and the Seoul Tourism Organization advises booking one to two weeks ahead for premium venues. Where a dress code is printed, it reads casual, smart casual or business casual; the Seoul Tourism Organization suggests smart casual for hotel rooftops.
Carry your passport. The legal drinking age in Korea is 19 by international age, with the calendar-year exception described in our Hongdae nightlife guide. Floating states 18 and over on its own page, so check the venue's policy at the door. Some hotel rooftops add a 10 percent service charge, according to the Seoul Tourism Organization, so check the menu footer before you order.
Weather decides the terrace. Floating says its outdoor terrace may close because of weather or private events. Autumn and late spring are the comfortable seasons for open-air seating; in winter, ask whether the terrace or only the indoor lounge is open.
