统营海底隧道用来连接统营和弥勒岛。从1931年至1932年，历时1年4个月建造完成，是东方首条海底隧道。内部采用混凝土结构，全长483米，适合散步和骑行。日本殖民统治时期，随着日本渔民移居至此，为使出行更加便利而修建了该隧道。隧道虽然建于日本殖民统治时期，但建隧道的人力都是朝鲜劳动者，基于这一点，目前被指定为韩国近代文化遗产。隧道入口处写着“龙门达阳”，寓意经过龙门后到达山阳。沿着混凝土隧道的坡面走，可以看到从拐弯处开始的右侧墙壁上挂着宣传牌，无声地展示着当时的历史和悲欢。以前，隧道是连接统营和弥勒岛的通道，但随着忠武桥和统营大桥的开通，如今几乎不再使用。尽管如此，这里还是24小时开放，无需门票，随时都可以自由前往。
