Jeongnimsa Temple Site, located in the city center of Baekje, the capital during the Sabi dynasty, is a representative Buddhist site of Baekje. Even after the fall of Baekje, the Five-story Stone Pagoda of Jeonnimsa Temple Site still stands tall today, revealing the historical significance of Baekje. Sabi-gil, an eco-friendly walking trail, takes visitors around many popular attractions from the Baekje era, allowing a glimpse into the history and culture of Baekje.<br>

Jungdong Catholic Church, the first of its kind in the Gongju, was constructed in 1897 in the Western medieval Gothic style. The church features a cruciform layout with a red brick exterior. A tall bell tower crowns the central entrance, while pointed arches adorn the upper parts of the doorways and windows. Inside, the simple decorations and stained glass windows create a serene and graceful ambiance.

Yugu Pink Muhly Garden boasts a breathtaking sea of cotton candy-like pink muhly, with its flowers peaking in fall. The garden also features an eco-playground with a sand play area, a play tunnel, and spider nets. Nearby attractions include a hydrangea garden, a traditional market, a mural street, and a textile history exhibition hall, making it an ideal spot for a combined tour.

Originally established as the set for the drama "Mr. Sunshine", it has since garnered interest as a filming location for historical dramas such as "Pachinko" and "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938". It is currently open to the public as a tourist attraction. Strolling through Sunshine Studio in costumes of the era, one feels as if they've stepped into the bustling Hanseong of the 1900s.

The Arario Sculpture Plaza is visited by over 70,000 people a day, being located outside the Arario Gallery Cheonan, between Cheonan Bus Terminal and Shinsegae Department Store. The plaza is decorated minimally, with just stone benches to enjoy the 30 works of art installed.

Ongmasan Mountain is located in the southern part of Boryeong with its highest point reaching 601 meters above sea level. Although the mountain encompasses the areas of Myeongcheon-dong and Nampo-myeon, it can easily be identified due to the transmission tower installed at the peak. The mountain's name is said to have derived from the legend of the last king of the Silla period and his horse that was hit with a jade arrow. The mountain has a paragliding center and a pine forest with rest spots. At the northern section of the summit, there is a pavilion that offers an excellent vista and Daeyeongsa Temple, renowned for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. Ongmasan Mountain can be reached by taking the National Roads 21 and 40, and other regional highways as well as expressways. Nearby attractions include Boryeong Mugunghwa Arboretum, Seongjusan Mountain, Seongjusan Recreational Forest, Boryeong Coal Museum, and Gaehwa Herb Land.&nbsp;

A garden filled with wild flowers, exotic plants, and rare trees, Garden of Sky is nestled by Jangsanhosu Pond located at the foothills of Meodeullyeong Pass. The garden also has a wide variety of facilities that cater to visitors' convenience and needs such as a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), seminar rooms, restaurants, herbal souvenir shop, cafes local food stores, forests, and photo zones.

Waemok Beach protrudes eastward along the coast, offering views of sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. With sandy shores and rocky outcrops, visitors can enjoy swimming in the sea, rock fishing, and exploring tidal flats. A 1.2km waterfront deck allows for leisurely walks along the beach. Additionally, there is a Sailing Around the World Exhibition Hall and operating summer yacht experience programs.

Unyeo Beach, located on Anmyeondo Island and facing the Yellow Sea, is characterized by its coastal dune and doksal, walls constructed for trapping fish at low tide, creating picturesque scenery. To the south of the beach, a breakwater adorned with pine trees, transforms into an island-like platform filled with water at high tide, offering stunning views at sunset. The beach welcomes swimmers during the summer season.

Birth Home of Queen Jeongsun is the house where Queen Jeongsun (1745-1805), the queen consort of King Yeongjo (1694-1776), the 21st monarch of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), lived until she became queen in 1759. It is estimated to have been built in the 17th century and features the architectural characteristics of hanok, with its distinctive "ㅁ" shape and tiled roof.

The Hongju Millennium Monument was created in 2018 to commemorate the past one thousand years of history in Hongseong (previously called Hongju), while also looking to the future and the next one thousand years. The entire monument is shaped like an hourglass, with historical figures, cultural assets and specialty products of the area at the top, and a time capsule embedded at the bottom of the monument, set to be opened in 2118.

Jeongchungsa Shrine is located in Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. It was first built in 1632, and was then rebuilt after a time of disrepair in 1872. The shrine was designated as a cultural heritage of Chungcheongnam-do on October 20, 2009.

This historic site related to Seong Sam-mun is believed to be the birthplace of Seong Sam-mun, and was founded by his maternal ancester, Park Dam. A shrine was built here in 1685 to honor Seong Sam-mun and the five others ministers who were executed with him for their plot to restore King Danjong to the throne after he was exhiled by his uncle. The site was destroyed in 1864 when Confucian facilities were removed by the government, but was later rebuilt in 1945.

Chilgapsan Mountain, often referred to as the Alps of Chungcheongnam-do, rises majestically above Alps Village. Located in Cheonjang-ri, a name that evokes the imagery of reaching as high as the ceiling, this village is a getaway to the serene Cheonjangho Lake, together forming the picturesque Cheonjang-ri Alps Village. The area is well-equipped for visitors, boasting the Chilgapsan Mountain hiking trail, Korea's longest suspension bridge that crosses Cheonjangho Lake, a center for urban-rural community exchange, and a farm offering well-being experience. Alps Village is renowned for its annual Ice Fountain Festival, a winter highlight that draws visitors eager to behold the snow and ice sculptures and participate in a variety of sledding and ice bobsled activities. Beyond these chilly thrills, visitors can also engage in experiences like zip trekking and crafting traditional bottle gourd art.<br>

Yanggoksa Shrine is located in Yanggok-ri, Hongseong, and enshrines the memorial tablets of Han Won-jin, and his disciples Song Neung-sang, and Kim Han-rok. The shrine was built in 1772 to commemorate Han Won-jin, and then was later rebuilt in 1987 with the addition of Song Neung-sang and Kim Han-rok's memorial tablets.

The Statue of General Kim Jwajin was erected to commemorate General Kim's efforts in leading the Independence Army against Japan during the Battle of Cheongsan-ri. This was one of the greatest victories in the war fro Korean independence.

Chuhyangsa Shrine is located in Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, and is dedicated to Kim Bokhan, also known as Jisan. The site holds memorial rites every year for the followers and descendents of Kim Bokhan.

Sanghwawon is a traditional Korean garden that was created to protect Jukdo's natural environment. The name bears the meaning "reverence for harmony." A covered corridor of 1 kilometer in length surrounds the island, and it is said to be the longest in the world. Sanghwawon has various facilities, including the Uigokdang Shrine believed to have been built in the early Joseon dynasty, a hanok village, Panseok Plaza, and Sky Garden. Panseok Plaza is made of black sandstones, a specialty of Boryeong. With the x_height of a three-story building, Sky Garden offers a sunset view over the West Sea from high above.<br> Sanghwawon also has an accommodation facility with about 20 rooms decorated in a modern style, and is situated in a high location, so guests can admire the beautiful scenery of Sanghwawon outside the room. After the show "Young Actors' Retreat (2022)" was aired, the accommodation became popular as the place where the celebrities stayed.

Since the ancient days, the city of Dangjin was where an important sea route to China existed along with Seosan and Taean. Not only was it an essential trading post with China, it was also a critical military hub. Myeoncheoneupseong Walled Town is widely known to have been constructed in the 16th year of King Chungnyeol's reign in the Goryeo Dynasty (1290) but many believe that it had actually existed ever since the early Baekje period for the purpose of stopping foreign invasions. Myeoncheoneupseong was a fortress that had four main gates in the east, west, south and north.<br>

It's a traditional brewing artistic enterprise that inherits and develops the modern and contemporary brewing culture of Korea by brewing and manufacturing alcoholic beverages with the craftsmanship of old sake masters. At Shinpyeong Brewery, a famous traditional liquor brewery that has been brewing sake for three generations in the same place for a long time with the excellent rice of Shinpyeong, beautiful liquor containing the scent of life is ripening today.<br>

Samseonsan Arboretum is a nature experience learning center and home to over 1,160 different species of plants. In addition to outdoor gardens where you can enjoy a variety of flowers and trees, there are also 10 facilities including an exhibition greenhouse, Kid's Dream Forest, and Korean Peninsula Park. It also features 23 exhibit gardens such as a hydrangea garden and azalea garden. Moreover, the arboretum presents diverse and beautiful sceneries during each season and is well-equipped with convenience facilities including a children's playground in the forest, a picnic area, cafe, and a water play area. House of Yu Gibang was built in the early 1900s and measures 4,770㎡. As a valuable historical asset, it was designated as a Chungcheongnam-do Folk Culture Heritage on October 31, 2005. The house faces south on a low mountain with a thick pine forest background. A courtyard is at the center of the house, created by the straight line-shaped anchae to the north, the haengnangchae to the west, and a chat room with anchae to the east. Initially, there was a middle gate in front of the anchae, but it was demolished in 1988 and replaced with a pavilion-shaped gate as seen now.<br>

Korea Flower Park is located in Taean near Kkotji Beach, a famous sunset location. The park is beautiful with different flowers in bloom from spring to fall. The garden also hosts various flower festivals throughout the year to highlight the flowers in bloom.

Beolcheonpo Beach is a coastal beach located along the Garolim Bay in the Hwanghae Sea. Surrounded by the Hwanghae Sea, it offers an ideal environment to experience the sea. The surrounding area is peaceful and boasts beautiful natural scenery, making it a popular pine forest for camping and vacationing during the summer months.
