Daejin Beach is located between Eodalhaebyeon Beach and Mangsang Beach. The beach is characterized by shallow waters and gentle waves, making it a popular spot among families with children or beginner surfers. In addition to swimming, the beach is also known for its nearby port, Daejin Port. The port has small boats come and go with their catch and is lined with restaurant that serve fresh seafood. It's also a popular shore fishing site among the locals who enjoy recreational fishing.<br>

Gamchusa Temple is a small temple in Yongjeong-dong in Donghae. There are only four buildings in the premises, but each building is neatly tucked away among the rocks, creating a picturesque scene. Most temples located near the sea are usually popular prayer spots, believed to be overseen by the Buddha and the Dragon King, who resides in the ocean. As such, many flock to the temple to pray asking for family well-being and prosperity. By the entrance of the temple is a five-story pagoda, which is said to have been built by a man who wanted to grant his mother's will before passing away. Due to its location by the sea, the temple offers spectacular views of the surrounding valley cliffs and the ocean.<br>

Hapyeonghaebyeon Beach is a tranquil beach with a shallow shore lined with pine groves. The beach is only 20 minutes away on foot and 10 minutes' ride from Donghae Express Bus Terminal, making it a great beach destination for family vacationers and tourists. The 20-meter wide shoreline is 200 meters in lenth, all covered with white sand. The beach also has rocks along the coast that act as a natural breakwater, preventing rough waves from entering the shore, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for swimming.&nbsp;

Mureung Byeolyucheonji was initially a limestone mine that opened in 1968. After 40 years of service as a mine, today it serves as a tourist attraction that boasts beautiful emerald lake and diverse activities. Mureung Byeolyucheonji gets its name from the rock-carved engravings in Mureunggyegok Valley and has the meaning "the place with the best view under the sky, a utopia away from the world." The attraction lives up to its name thanks to the beautiful surrounding mountain scenery pit lakes. Visitors can also enjoy the view from a different angle through diverse rides, such as the Sky Glider, Alpine Coaster, and more.

Dojjaebi is a dialect for dokkaebi, a mythical goblin in Korean folklore. Dojjaebigol Haerang Observatory, a 85-meter pedestian overpass, is designed to take the shape of a club known to be used dokkaebi. The word "haerang" means "the space where the sun, the sea, and you are all together." The entrance to the obsertory overpass is designed to give a sense as if one is warping into the realm of dokkaebi. The bridge floor is built using glass and mesh so that visitors can see the ocean water under their feet.

Located at a x_height of 1,100 meters above sea level in Gangneung, Anbandegi Tourist Farm is a privately owned farm. It offers various healing experience programs such as wild vegetable picking, healing forest trail trekking, stargazing, and camping, making it a perfect therapeutic escape.<br>

Jukdojeong Pavilion is located on Jukdo Island in Yangyang, which is a small island with an average circumference of 1 kilometer. Mukho Lighthouse, visible in the distance alongside the blue sea and white sand, serves as a picturesque backdrop for photos. The Hanseom Gamseong Sea Trail is a 2.2-kilometer-long trail, connecting Hanseomhaebyeon Beach, Gobulgae, and Gase Village. Part of the trail is a deck-built promenade, making it a perfect course for a stroll while enjoying the lush pine forest on one side and the blue sea on the other.<br>

The pine forest stretched across the beach allows visitors to enjoy forest bathing. Various beach events are held here such as clam collecting contest, bare-hand trout catching contest, and more. Unification Security Park serves as the entry point to the Unification Observatory. Before entering the observatory, visitors can watch a video at the Education Security Hall, which has a seating capacity of 700 people. In front of the Education Security Hall, stands the Peace Bell, a symbol of hope for peaceful reunification. Daejinhang Port is located at the northernmost tip of the east coast of Korea. Since the opening of North-Eastern Railways in 1935, the port has become a transportation hub, facilitating the transport of seafood and agricultural products to Wonsan.<br>

Hyanggyo (local Confucian school) is an educational institution from the Joseon era. It housed memorial tablets for esteemed Confucian scholars, such as Confucius and Mencius, and hosted commemorative services. Gangneunghyanggyo consists of traditional hanok buildings, including Daeseongjeon Shrine, used for rites; Myeongryundang Lecture Hall, a space for education; and the East (Dongjae) and West (Seojae) Dormitories, where students resided. Today, Seokjeon (rite to honor Confucius and Confucian scholars) is held every spring and fall.

Seoraksan Botanical Garden is a miniature version of Seoraksan Mountain. The garden features a wide range of plants, from rare species native to the mountain to more common wildflowers. It includes a water plant garden connected to the Sabang Dam, a rock garden with rare plants, a maze garden perfect for children, and greenhouses. Forest trails, walking paths, and stepping stones add to its charm, making it an ideal year-round destination.

It is conveniently located near famous tourist sites such as Seoraksan Mountain and Naksansa Temple, making it ideal for sightseeing. Just a five-minute walk from Hujin Harbor, go for a walk during sunset period like Lee Know and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the background.<br>
